Woah! So we finally get to the end of the war with Negan (or so it seems)。 We have a strange jump forward in time I am not sure I like。 So many have changed。 Carl is grown up and ready to pave his own way, away from Rick, Maggie is have leadership conflicts from every direction。 And Michonne is a Sea farer/pirate?! Everything seems relatively calm in the major sense but new arrivals and talking zombies might be changing all that。 This book has it all and a very shocking and disturbing ending。
Sean Flinchpaugh,
Kirkmans improving。 Writing style a little more character based this time around。 How can this be better than Omnibus 5? Its like seasoning on an already elegant stew。 The narrative propulsion from Omnibus 5 is here combined with character moments that move beyond the basics of survival。 Plus, we have a new threat that moves beyond man-child with a god complex。 Speaking of, I didn't know if I'd like it or not, but Negan being around adds a new dimension here I didn't expect。 More than just a sym Kirkmans improving。 Writing style a little more character based this time around。 How can this be better than Omnibus 5? Janet,
Kudos to the authors for continuing to create new challenges for our intrepid band of survivors。 Pace drags a bit in the middle with a bunch of dull relationship angst, but great ending!

Jess the Shelf-Declared Bibliophile,
Being a huge fan of the show, I wanted to see how the original writing started and how the show writers followed and deviated from the comics。 My dislikes were that the comics are much more crude, crass, and unnecessarily violent。 I did like the change in relationships and how people worked together differently, and the comics have a different creepiness feel than you get watching it on TV。 Overall, I prefer the show, and probably will not finish out the comic book series。
João Batista,
Well, now Negan strikes a blow on Rick's group。。。 and Robert Kirkman sends another man into the 'fraternity': Jesus! As Hilltop is attacked, Negan and Dwight have a chance to kill Rick。。。 and elsewhere, Eugene is growing in courage。After years, a new look on Rick and Carl; pirate Michonne? Zorro Andrea? a new group invited into Alexandria; and the dead whispering: "You will fear us。" In Alexandria, Rick does not kill; in Hilltop, Maggie does not agree。。。"I have marked our border。。。 You will know Well, now Negan strikes a blow on Rick's group。。。 and Robert Kirkman sends another man into the 'fraternity': Jesus! As Hilltop is attacked, Negan and Dwight have a chance to kill Rick。。。 and elsewhere, Eugene is growing in courage。After years, a new look on Rick and Carl; pirate Michonne?
